How to use

First start by applying your Rapid Warming Balm liberally onto skin and rubbing in when gaining UV exposure, let it settle into your skin. Now it’s time to apply your desired SPF. Reapply your Rapid Warming Balm and SPF when necessary.

Is this a hot tingle product?

Hot, no warm yes! It’s not uncomfortable on the skin and should not have a really hot or itchy reaction like most tingle lotions. You may see some redness on your skin, that’s our warming ingredient helping support blood circulation so you tan darker.

I’m really pale and struggle to tan. Will your products work for me?

Our products can definitely help! Our natural tanning accelerators work hard to enhance your skin’s natural tanning process. As each skin type is different it is hard to guarantee you’ll achieve your desired results as it really comes to the individual. We have had amazing feedback from babes that really struggle to tan or only burn when exposed to UV – they are finally seeing tan lines! The key for fair skin tones is to apply the Elixir daily 5-7 days prior to sun exposure. This is the bit that prepares the skin by kick starting the natural tanning process. Alternatively, our tropical Self-Tanners will help deliver you a flawless, streak-free bronzed glow instantly if sun baking isn’t your thing. Our Self-Tan range is filled with skinfoody goodness, 100% plant based DHA & reduced scent technology to combat those icky fake tan smells. It’s the tan your skin will love you for!

Can I use SPF with your products?

You sure can. We best recommend applying your Fox Tan accelerator first and letting it settle into your skin. You can now apply your desired SPF. Keep in mind sunscreen may make the tanning process a little slower however will prevent you from burning. Reapply your SPF and Fox Tan accelerator as necessary.

Can I use The Fox Tan in a sunbed?

Sure can!* Our products are just as effective in a tanning bed as they are outdoors. Given they are short bursts of UV, the more sessions the better the results. Indoor or outdoor tanning simply use as directed on our products page. *Rapid Candy Oil & Rapid Bronzing Balm cannot be used in sunbeds.

I’m confused of which product to buy. What will make me darkest?

To reach your ultimate natural tanning potential we recommend using the Rapid Elixir as directed followed by the Rapid Mist, Watermelon Shimmer, Caramel Kiss, Rapid Accelerator, Candy Oil*, Bronzing Balm*, Banana Whip, Man Mist or Warming Balm when in the sun or sunbed. Ever tried covering your body in icy hot?

I was so excited to get this so I could start tanning in the colder months. The smell is 10/10, the consistency 10/10, the pearlescent shimmer 10/10. About 5 minutes after applying this to my entire body I felt like I was on FIRE! I still went to the pool to tan because beauty is pain. The burning passed once I was in the cool breeze but I was so itchy and uncomfortable the entire time. I was hot AND cold. I have never been so overstimulated. After I showered and scrubbed my body 4 times I finally felt the gentle warming effect I expected. I didn’t have an allergic reaction or hives, the cinnamon is just not for the weak. I did get a better tan than I expected for laying in the sun for 40 minutes so I am happy with that. I will probably use it again next year when I forget how horrific the first experience was but I definitely won’t buy it again purely because it felt like my body was covered in flames. I do love this brand still and I will be buying something else. I just wasn’t stronger than the cinnamon.

I cant express how impressed I am with the Cherry Blush Balm. I am an experienced tanner and used this product in my solarium and I have to say I received the darkest tan ever! Just be mindful this balm is HOT!

Best bronze

This product was a little strange at first as I didn’t know what to expect despite the instructions saying it would cause tingling. This made me so warm, especially in CA 100+ degree days, but it felt wonderful. I got the best tan in shorter results.
