How to use

Gradual Body Lotion: Apply to the skin as you would a normal body moisturiser lightly covering hands, elbows and feet. Thoroughly wash hands after use. Apply daily or as needed to build a tailor-made depth of tan suitable for you.

Gradual Face Serum: Simply apply the drops directly to your face and massage into skin. We best recommend the Gradual Self-Tan Face Serum be applied after cleansing in the PM. Apply 2-5 times per week to your face and neck until you reach your desired tan. Wash hands after use.

Tan Tip: Use in conjunction with our Self-Tanners to ensure a longer lasting tan. As your Self-Tan starts to fade apply your Gradual Glow Body Lotion to help top your colour right back up!

How many applications of the Gradual Glow Body Lotion will it take before I look tanned?

You’ll already see a glow on your first application babe! Our Gradual Glow Body Lotion has a higher level of 100% plant-based DHA than most gradual tans, meaning it does not need to be applied daily. This is a buildable formula, so continue applying till you find that perfectly desired glow level. This can vary from 1-4 applications per week. You do you babe!

Why use Gradual Tanning products?

Gradual tanners are perfect for the babe that wants to achieve a natural, sun kissed glow. It’s super low maintenance and application is easy as. It’s also a great starting point for beginners that aren’t so confident when it comes to Self-Tan application. We also highly recommend using our Gradual Glow Lotion on top of your existing Self-Tan if you feel it could do with a little ‘top me up’!

Will I get that fake tan smell?

We’ve used reduced scent technology and a delicious Pomegranate/ Passionfruit scent that negates that strong icky fake tan smell!

Do I still need to use my skincare in conjunction with the Gradual Self-Tan Face Serum?

No, our Gradual Face Serum acts as skincare too, it’s tanning and skincare combined. Our hyaluronic rich formula will intensely hydrate, smooth out fine lines and wrinkles plus help plump your skin with it’s anti-aging benefits. No wonder science says Hyaluronic Acid is the the holy grail to wrinkle free, youthful hydration.

How can I ensure I get the longest wear out of my body tan and face tan?

BODY - Gently exfoliate prior to application. Avoid hot showers. Use a hydrating body wash rather than drying soap. Always pat yourself dry after a shower or bath. Avoid waxing after application. Be sure to moisturise daily. Stay hydrated (your body will love you for it too). Also take note that chlorinated pools and sea water may cause your tan to fade a little faster. FACE - We best recommend avoiding products like retinol (Vitamin A), AHAs and BHAs as they actively exfoliate your face, meaning your glow will go much faster. Using lukewarm water and always patting your face dry with your towel VS rubbing.

How do I remove my Gradual Tan?

Your Gradual Tan will slowly fade off in time and generally requires little to no exfoliation when it’s time is done. If you want to remove it right away then we best recommend using our Exfoliating Wonder Mitt, this will remove it quickly and with ease requiring zero chemicals, just a little water.

Best Gradual Tan Lotion EVER!

I have tried many other gradual tan lotions from inexpensive to the higher dollar popular brands. None of them compare to Fox Tan. One application gives me a fair amount of color (I'm pretty fair skinned) and it doesn't streak. I apply my regular lotion first and let it soak in and then the tan lotion after. It has a faint fake tan smell the next morning but I just rinse off quick and it's gone. This brand really won me over when it stayed on after sweating on the beach and swimming in the ocean. I will be a permanent customer ❤️

Almost Instant results!

I noticed a difference in just a few hours. I’m very pale so maybe that’s why but I love both of these products! I will definitely be purchasing again! The fake tan smell is still there but not extreme or icky.

A gradual glow all over

This is a great pair for getting a gradual buildable tan from your head to toes. The gradual lotion smells so delicious and feels extremely hydrating when I rub it in. The face serum is also as hydrating and takes me about 2–3 tries to get the tone I like best.
